An annual event, the Festival celebrates Leeton’s stunning Art Deco architecture and is Australia’s largest Art Deco Festival. There’s something for everyone to enjoy! Starting in 2019 and celebrating the culture of the interwar period in the food bowl of Australia – 1920s, 30s and 40s, the Australian Art Deco Festival – Leeton is a growing regional event for the calendar.
Leeton boasts a rich Art Deco heritage, with its stunning architecture and historic streetscapes influenced by designs by renowned architect Walter Burley Griffin. The Australian Art Deco Festival – Leeton celebrates and showcases this unique cultural heritage.

Leeton is about 6 hours drive (584km) from Sydney, 5 hours drive (470km) from Melbourne and 4 hours drive (371km) from Canberra. Leeton is also only 40 minutes drive from Griffith and 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Wagga Wagga for those people travelling from interstate.
