A non-stop night of 1920s Entertainment

Hundred at the Hydro is an event designed to transport you back to the glitz and glam of the 1920s. On arrival, take a ride in a vintage car which will drive you to the grand entrance of The Historic Hydro. Trade your coat for a glass of champagne from our Butler and prepare for a non-stop night of 1920s entertainment!

We could hardly contain our excitement when we stumbled across ‘Brooks and Baker’ – a vintage entertainment company that has been captivating audiences around the world since 2013!

They didn’t call it the Roaring Twenties for nothing, and when you meet ‘The Gatsby Girls’ and ‘The Wild Tonics’, you’ll understand why!

A non-stop night of 1920s Entertainment

The Gatsby Girls initiated in London five years ago. They have previously performed across the UK, Europe and now Australia, for some wonderful occasions and celebrations (including Glastonbury!).  So, you could only imagine how excited we were when we booked them in to perform at our Festival!

Watch as they dance the Charleston, shimmy and everything in between. For those who want to join the fun, the Gatsby Girls will even be teaching everyone a few moves too!

The Gatsby Girls will be dancing up a storm alongside vocal trio The Wild Tonics. Quoted as being ‘big, sexy and unpredictable’, The Wild Tonics perform a fusion of current music with a 1920s twist. Think The Boswell Sisters, Bette Midler and Beyoncé all meet for the first time and WOW, they get along like a house on fire!

Intricate harmonies, beautifully embellished costumes and renowned entertainers these gals are not to be missed!

The toe tappin’ music of the 1920s really is infectious and can’t wait to see everyone do their thing at Hundred at the Hydro on Friday night. Tickets are still available for this ‘night of nights’, which will also feature a Casino and Murder Mystery Party – which were huge back in the 20s!

Let the party begin!
